This backend service automatically refreshes vaulted card information whenever a customer’s card expires, is reissued, or replaced. Pre-requisites
Merchants need to opt in for Account Updater feature through MXM Portal > Settings > Account Updater (or via API).

How It Works
- Daily Submission: All vaulted customer card accounts are securely submitted to supported card brands (Visa, Mastercard, Discover).
- Card Brand Check: The networks identify updates such as:
- Expired cards
- Lost or stolen cards
- Bank-issued replacements or upgrades
- Account number changes
- Automatic Sync: Updated details (card number, expiry date, closure status, etc.) are automatically applied to the customer’s vaulted card.
- Merchant Visibility: Each update is logged in the customer’s history for transparency.
