Resources
Depending on your business model and use cases, you can create the following resources -
- Customer: Represents the entities you provide your primary business services. A customer can be a business or an individual. The number of customers you board depends on your business needs. For example, if your customers operate in multiple locations, you can manage their activity by using different customer accounts for each location.
- Accounts: Represent the accounts where you receive the payout of fund. They allow you to manage the flow of money movement and provide you account activity data for easier reconciliation. Each account empowers your system to track the payments more easily, split payments as per your business needs, and reconcile them.
- You need atleast one account for each customer that you process payment with.
- A single account cannot be linked to multiple customers. For example, two merchants Apex Ltd. and SuperNova cannot have a single account
- One customer can have multiple accounts. For example, a single merchant SuperNova can have multiple accounts one to track their payments for Texas location, and second for Georgia.
- Merchant: If a customer accepts card payments, an additional merchant entity should be created. It allows you to define locations and share additional details required for enabling card processing.
