Subscriptions allow merchants to configure automated recurring billing for customers. A contract subscription defines the billing cycle (weekly, monthly, annually), the product or service being charged, the payment method on file, and the retry logic for failed payments. Through the Contract Subscriptions APIs, developers can create, activate, update, pause, or cancel recurring plans with complete visibility into upcoming and historical billing events.
