Funding Rules
How and when settled card funds are paid out to your bank account
Funding rules govern when settled card funds leave the processor and how they land in your bank account — the settlement-to-deposit timing, the destination account, and any holds or reserves.
What controls funding today
Until a dedicated funding-rules surface is confirmed, three existing controls determine how funds move:
| Control | What it governs | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Auto-close time | When open batches settle each day, which starts the funding clock | Settlement & Funding |
| Deposit bank account | The destination account for funded deposits | Merchant Configuration |
| Funding timeline & reserves | Days-to-deposit and any held amounts | Processor configuration (contact Account Management) |
Confirm what you were funded
Reconcile expected vs. actual deposits with the reporting endpoints:
- Deposits report — amounts deposited to your bank account, by date
- Settlement report — settled batches that feed each deposit
See Reports & Reconciliation for the full flow.
